About the Author
P. Ramgopal
Prof. P.Ramgopal, retired Associate Professor of English, is an established translator. He was awarded the Nalli-Thisaiettum Translation Award 2024. The books he has translated from Tamil to English include Theeramikka Indiyarkal highlights the sacrifices of our soldiers on the front.(Pub. Zero Degree publishing-original Eng. version was published by Random House, India). His book, Mark Vangalaam Vanga, high lighting the use of both sides of the brain to make learning easy and enjoyable and his book on Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, meant for Children were widely received. He and his wife Mrs. K. Chandra, together translated 3 volumes of Children’s Encyclopaedia from English (Pub.Sapna, CBE).
