An Eternal Hymn to Shrimati Radharani
O Raseshwari, O Ramya, O Presiding Goddess of the Krishna-mantra,
The Giver of All, The Worshipped by All.
O She Who Sports in Vrindavan,
O Vrinda-Radha, O Rama,
O You Who Are Worshipped by Countless Circles of Gopis,
O Satya, O Satyapara, O Satyabhama,
O Beloved of Shri Krishna, O Daughter of Vrishabhanu,
O Gopi, O Primordial Nature,
O Ishwari, O Gandharva, O Radhika, O Ramya,
O Rukmini, O Supreme Goddess, O Greater Than the Greatest, O The Complete One,
O You Whose Face Is Like the Full Moon, O Giver of Worldly Joy and Liberation, O Destroyer of the Disease of Material Existence,
O Krishna’s Beloved Radhika —
The Embodiment of Pure, Spiritual, Divine Love,
The Hladini-Shakti, the Primordial Power of Krishna,
The Bestower of Bliss, Beauty, and Fulfillment.
O Radhike, the Life and Soul of Krishna,
Ever chanting Your Name,
This supreme devotee, Radhakanta,
A servant of Your lotus feet,
Falls to his knees with folded hands
And offers You crores and crores of prostrations.
Radha Radha; Radha Radha; Raa...dha...
Shyam Radha, Govinda Radha,
Daughter of Vrishabhanu — Radha,
Vrinda Radha, Vrindavan-Biharini Radha,
Radha, Beloved of Lalita, Vishakha, and the Eight Principal Sakhis,
Radha... Beloved of All...
Radha Radha Radha Radha... Vrinda Radha.
Day and night I sing only the Name of Radha.
O Most Worshippable Radhike,
At the end of this life, let this wretched soul
Find a place at Your lotus feet.
The greatest desire in my heart —
To become an eternal resident of Vrindavan.
I do not seek liberation,
I have no longing for Kashi.
Have mercy on me,
O Beloved of Krishna, O She Who Sports in Vrindavan,
O Sixteen-rayed Full Moon.
Break and release me, O Mother,
From all the shackles of this worldly existence.
Tell me, how much longer will You keep me
Pushed far away from Your nearness,
Deprived of Your boundless grace?
Like a Chatak bird with thirsty, yearning eyes,
I remain gazing at Your divine form,
Daily singing Your praises with devotion.
O Ladli of Barsana,
In my next birth, make me a peacock
So I may dance and dance and enchant You.
In my next birth, please make me a forest peacock.
And if You make me a parrot — Shuk or Sari —
I will fly across all of Vrindavan
Singing the Names of Radha and Krishna.
And if by fortune I become a priest,
I shall worship the united form of Radha-Krishna with all my devotion.
Radhe Radhe.
Raa...dhe.......Shyam Sundar Radhe...
Shyama Shyam Sundar Raa...dhe...
